Beautiful
Lovely images I came across at every reform movement. Enjoy.
Time Out
How would you like to spend the day together? Let’s make some mischief…
let’s jump in the car…
and enjoy a bit of retail therapy…
…and a tasty treat…
we’ll swing by the office to check on things…
stop and buy flowers and head back to my place…
you arrange the flowers…
and I make dinner. So lovely to have you.
Ant Farm House/Xrange
Xrange, an architectural firm located in Taiwan, created Ant Farm House. To preserve an existing indigenous stone house, xrange wraps a new layer of high living spaces around it to create an “extreme” new house of outrageous proportion. The form strategy creates a “found interior” for the new house from the “internalized exterior” of the old house.
Spread Out
Loads of horizontal work space in House in Hidaka, Japan by Suppose Design Office.
House in Savion/Alex Meitlis
Tel Aviv-based studio Alex Meitlis has recently completed the House in Savion project. This 4,520 square foot tow-story residence is located outside of Tel Aviv, Israel. Beautiful garden, pleasing decor, abundance of light, all add up to magical.
Money
Time to make a deposit at Macquarie Bank by Clive Wilkinson Architects…

Francis Ford Coppola’s Beach House
We are still saluting summer…and we find ourselves in Belize at Francis Ford Coppola’s Beach House. This teak wood, slab slate and aluminum design is the creation of French architect, Laurent Deroo.
Time Out
I love the projects coming out of Poland. The Zmianatematu cafe by xm3 is no exception. If you would be kind enough to join me, we are off to Lodz today for a friendly cup of coffee.
Light fixtures hang down between curved plywood ribs…
Patches of plaster are intentionally left unfinished…
It’s still too early in the day to spice things up, yes?
Step up to the bar and let’s order…
Apple
I have been inspired by Katherine over at oliveryaphe and I am jumping on her Apple bandwagon today. As Katherine points out, “Apple does furnish a room.”
Lone Hotel/3LHD
Lone Hotel by 3LHD is the first design hotel in Croatia, and is situated in the Monte Mulini forest park. Love it!
