Soho Loft/The Apartment
Located in an 1882, six-story, red brick building with an intriguing past as department store, the Soho Loft by The Apartment provides a fabulous family space for three. Here you will find a sculptural stacked-wood fireplace, Marc Sadler Boffi kitchen, a library corner with floating book shelves, and great light and views. Oh, and you may recognize this apartment from the film, “The Devil Wears Prada.” Enoy the tour…
I’ll Have What They’re Having
The Boone residence is a renovation of a historical two bedroom private residence in New York City by Richardson Sadeki.
A sweet accessory…
I love a dining room/library combination…
The glass staircase keeps the space open and bright…
Very luxe…I love the neutrals.
Photographer Joe Fletcher
Joe Fletcher, I’m not a photographer, but I can spot a superb image when I see one. Your photographs are clear, sharp, and crisp; and, the lighting is always oh so perfect. Keep them coming, please. I am a huge fan.
Ixos/Bruno Erpicum
New from talented architectural photographer, Eugueni Pons, is Ixos by Bruno Erpicum. Located in Ibiza, in the clearing of a pine forest, this sleek home promises blue skies, warm sun, and sparkling water. Let’s grab a towel and spend the day.
Ravine Guest House/Shim-Sutcliffe Architects
The Ravine House by Toronto-based Shim-Sutcliffe Architects has a peaceful and calm presence. The house is set in a ravine within a lush Canadian landscape. There is more I can say about this meditative space, but instead, I think I will just say, “ahhhh…”
Clear Vision
Wishing you unobstructed views and clear vision for the upcoming week…

Ripoll/Joan Puigcorbe
Ripoll by Spanish architect, Joan Puigcorbe, has been added to the work of architectural photographer, Eugueni Pons. I was drawn to this project by its tasteful simplicity and order. Puigcorbe says, “architecture is a language through which all the following properties may be expressed: harmony, creativity, happiness, beauty, poetry, complexity, magic, provocation, and culture. That is our main goal.” I’d say, mission accomplished…

The Vampire Cafe
Wow! The Vampire Cafe in Tokyo, Japan, by Fantastic Design Works Incorporated, leaves nothing to the imagination. Love the shade of red…
Time Out
Let’s take a time out. We can meet after work for a drink, go on to dinner, and then indulge in a nightcap…not to worry, I have it all planned.

Hmmmm…
MR Architecture + Decor….a favorite. The common denominator of their work is an aesthetic that focuses on revealing “the poetry in the most rational approach to space, proportion, and light.” Their work reveals a beautifully calibrated balance between form and function. As for me, I just like what I see. Hmmm…given the choice, which would you choose? Upstate New York house or Soho penthouse? Either way, it’s a win-win.
