How Does Your Garden Grow?…

…on my outdoor dining table, of course!  The Future Feast table is a hybrid between your garden and your patio table.  I love this!  Small back yards can now take on a whole new look.  Designed by Suzanne Biaggi of Sculptural Landscapes in California.  Genuis…

Take a Bow…

…baby boomers galore ponder a myriad of ways they would like to gracefully take their last bow on stage left and create a new vision for life on stage right.  A couple in their 60’s chose to trade busy city life for a restful life surrounded by nature in New Zealand.  They asked Hamish Monk Architecture to create their nirvana.  Waiatarua House is complete with exquisite modern furnishings, creative sculptural components, and a unique sensitivity for the bush area surrounding the property.

Let’s Go Into Town…

…I’ll be happy to say it…in my opinion, Pitsou Kedem Architect always gets it right.  Tel Aviv Townhouse 4 consists of mainly earthy and neutral tones that are expressed through both the structure and the furniture…with a pleasant dash of color.  I find this minimalist residence to be hypnotic…I want to experience every clean line…and the landscaping is simple yet magical.  This residence is situated behind a gated entrance, and is tucked between two unassuming apartment complexes…

Lost in Time at Casa No Tempo…

…I’m lost in time at Casa No Tempo…and I may never return…an hour south of Lisbon, I find pristine landscapes filled with oak and olive trees.  Casa No Tempo is a family farm which has been in the same family for generations…the home has undergone a recent renovation by the architect Manuel Aires Matus.

Horesback riding…

breaking bread with friends and family…

reading by the fire in a cozy nook…

views from rooms with massive windows of cork trees, pastures, wild fields, dams, ponds, and streams…I’m spending the night…

…and beginning all over again.  It’s ok, no need to look for me…
