Sauna, Anyone?…
…the Juvet River Sauna, located near the Juvet Landscape Hotel, in Gudbrandsjuvet, Norway, has changed my expectations about what I think a sauna ought to deliver…this creation has been brought to life by Jensen & Skodvin Architects…
…who needs more than this view?…
…the traditional “vase” with stones is situated in the middle, creating the main accent of the room…

Once Upon a Time…
…a striking artist’s studio loomed atop a rocky beach. The only way it could be reached was by hiking along the shore. The floors of the structure rotated, giving the studio a playful and unique geometry. The studio brought inspiration to any artist lucky enough to reside there…
The Norwegian based firm Saunders Architecture has completed a series of cabin-like artists’ studios on the lovely island of Fogo in Canada. The studios house artists participating in the Fogo Island Arts Corporation’s residency program. Tower Studio is one these stunning residences.
