Farm Therapy

SGL Projekt were commissioned to revitalize a farm near Semtin, Czech Republic.  They found inspiration by looking up…atop the chimney of the 90 year old distillery where a stork nest was perched.  Stork Nest Farm was born.  Though the site is a working farm, the agricultural operations are not for generating profit, but to attract visitors to the unusual conference center retreat.  The stork’s nest is a symbol of safety, home, and security.

Time Out

Let’s go to Paris for a long weekend…we must dine at Sur Mesure and Camelia…yes, both..created by Jouin Manku Studio.  Never mind the cuisine, I am taken with the milky white interiors…one a bit like rumpled sheets; the other smooth and sleek.  I wonder if we will choose a favorite when all is said and done…

…I think I will choose Camelia…

…or maybe I will select Sur Mesure…

..or perhaps…yes, both…
