Ripoll/Joan Puigcorbe

Ripoll by Spanish architect, Joan Puigcorbe, has been added to the work of architectural photographer, Eugueni Pons.  I was drawn to this project by its tasteful simplicity and order.  Puigcorbe says, “architecture is a language through which all the following properties may be expressed: harmony, creativity, happiness, beauty, poetry, complexity, magic, provocation, and culture.  That is our main goal.”  I’d say, mission accomplished…

Yes, that’s right, it’s sizzling hot in the kitchen…that’s because MINIMALUSA is doing the cooking.  The people at this first rate company are visionary,  top-notch,  and personable.  Their design philosophy is to provide bespoke solutions that creatively mold architectural form, unique materials, and technological hardware with the utmost attention to detail.

Time Out

Let’s take a time out.  We can meet after work for a drink, go on to dinner, and then indulge in a nightcap…not to worry, I have it all planned.

Hmmmm…

MR Architecture + Decor….a favorite.  The common denominator of their work is an  aesthetic that focuses on revealing “the poetry in the most rational approach to space, proportion, and light.”  Their work reveals a beautifully calibrated balance between form and function.  As for me, I just like what I see.  Hmmm…given the choice, which would you choose?  Upstate New York house or Soho penthouse?  Either way, it’s a win-win.

Sunday Sofa

Ahhh…Sunday.  That wonderful day of the week when, hopefully, at some point in the day, you have time to sit and relax, read the newspaper, or simply gaze out the window.  Wishing you wonderful daydreams on your Sunday sofa…
