How Does Your Garden Grow?…
…on my outdoor dining table, of course! The Future Feast table is a hybrid between your garden and your patio table. I love this! Small back yards can now take on a whole new look. Designed by Suzanne Biaggi of Sculptural Landscapes in California. Genuis…

Time Out…
We work for a multitude of reasons…and it’s reasonable we like to play hard after we work hard. Below are a few new establishments that would be fun to unwind and play at after a demanding work day…

Take a Bow…
…baby boomers galore ponder a myriad of ways they would like to gracefully take their last bow on stage left and create a new vision for life on stage right. A couple in their 60’s chose to trade busy city life for a restful life surrounded by nature in New Zealand. They asked Hamish Monk Architecture to create their nirvana. Waiatarua House is complete with exquisite modern furnishings, creative sculptural components, and a unique sensitivity for the bush area surrounding the property.
Aero…
…a nice segue from my last post, Does It Float?…Los Angeles based, West of West, created an experimental surfboard; Aero. A board built around the streamlined image of speed. The classic outlines of a planing hull blend with an asymmetrical split tail. The top is minimal while the bottom is extensively contoured…
Ridges and valleys emerge from the bottoms surface, forming a new topography that reacts to speed and flow in unique ways. Aero was built for and displayed at the Architecture and Design Museum of Los Angeles…
