A World in Its Own Right…

Latticed bridge trusses and hazy streetscapes adorn the garments of fashion designer Mary Katrantzou‘s Autumn Winter 2013 collection shown during London Fashion Week.  Foggy streets and landscapes printed onto satin and silk are inspired by the black-and-white photography of Edward Steichen, Clarence White and Alfred Stieglitz.

Verdi’s Attila at the Metropolitan Opera, New York, is a collaboration of creative talent.  Conducted by Riccardo Muti and directed by Pierre Audi, it features costume designs by Miuccia Prada and sets by Pritzker Prize-winning architects Herzog & de Meuron.
